FIRST ACADEMY

First Academy is a growing Christian school in Rogers, Arkansas. Housed within First Baptist Rogers, FA is open to PK3-7th grade students with plans to expand our upper school in forthcoming years.

We are currently accepting safety officer applications for the 2026-2027 school year.

 Full-time staff receive paid leave, free tuition, disability, health and life insurance, and retirement. 

Experience and Training

  • At least 2 years experience in law enforcement, military, or safety management preferred
  • CSO or CSSO training required, or ability to complete training (school will pay)
  • Background in Law Enforcement preferred
  • First aid and CPR certified or be able to get them

Job Responsibilities

  • Training all personnel on safety plans, policies, and drills, including fire, tornado, emergency, and active threats.
  • Assist administration in developing and supervising plans and policies regarding school safety, including fire, tornado, emergency, and active threats.
  • Assist administration in developing and supervising all student pick up and drop off policies and plans.
  • Routinely supervising daily student and staff safety by checking common areas lon school and church campus for possible threats, hazards, and dangers, both weather and human.
  • Staying up to date on latest news, information, and policies regarding student and campus safety.
  • Assist school administration with possible hazards and threats from visitors, whether the visitor be a parent, employee, or intruder.
  • Participates in training and other meetings and initiatives

  • Respects and upholds school policies and standards delineated in faculty policies, student handbooks, and in faculty training

  • Follows Matthew 18:15-17 model for handling conflicts

  • Maintains certification and professional training required for the position
