First Academy is a growing Christian school in Rogers, Arkansas. Housed within First Baptist Rogers, FA is open to PK3-7th grade students with plans to continue to expand our upper school in forthcoming years.

We are currently accepting applications for a part-time nurse for the 2026-2027 school year.

Part-time nursing position up to 25 hours per week following school calendar with hourly pay.

Certification and Training

  • LPN or RN
  • Active nursing license required
  • First aid and CPR certified

Job Responsibilities

  • Displays to students genuine love for God, Scripture, and learning
  • Prays for students daily

  • Provide first aid and basic medical care to students and staff

  • Able to respond as necessary in emergency situations
  • Maintain accurate health records per state and school policy, including shot records and reqiured health screenings
  • Implement and support school health and illness policies and procedures
  • Communicate as needed with parents regarding health and welness of students
  • Assist school leadership in review of policies and procedures for health and wellness of students and staff

  • Respects the confidentiality of students, families, and colleagues by using the highest degree of discretion in communication

  • Complete other essential tasks as assigned by school administration as needed

  • Contributes to a cooperative and collegial atmosphere among teachers and staff

  • Participates in training and other meetings and initiatives

  • Respects and upholds school policies and standards delineated in faculty policies, student handbooks, and in faculty training

  • Follows Matthew 18:15-17 model for handling conflicts

  • Maintains licensure and certifications
